Flyball

I compete in flyball with both of my dogs.  Sadie seems to enjoy it but doesn't see the point in putting all her energy into it, after all she's just going to run down and back again.  Copper, on the other hand, puts all he has into it.   He's very competitive and fast.  Currently he's the fastest dog on the team.   He also usually runs first since he has so much stamina and drive to beat the other dog.  We do all the local tournaments and a few out of town tournaments.  We even go to one each summer in Thunder Bay, Canada when they offer it.  Sadie has her Flyball Master (FM) which is earned at 5000 points.  Copper has his ONYX title which is earned at 20000 points.  He currently run on the Clever Canines flyball team.   Vada runs on High Velocity.  If you'd like to learn more about flyball check out the flyball homepage.

I hope to have some pictures of Copper doing flyball up soon.

It makes training a lot easier if the dog loves balls.  I'd say Sadie was off to a good start.
