Angel and Luci were strays I stole from their mom. Alchy snuck out
the door one day and as I was looking for him I found a momma cat and her 3 kittens hiding
in the bushes. I tried to catch the momma cat but she was too streetwise. She
would stretch her paw out and knock the food out of my hand to eat it. I tossed some
of the food towards her and away from the kittens and took her kittens and put them in the
house. That night momma cat jumped up on the window ledge on the outside of the
house and cried out for her kittens. Then she left and I never saw her again.
I wish I could have rescued her too. I found a home for one of the kittens and kept
the other two - Angel and Luci. Luci was born around June 11, 1992.
Luci loves to cuddle but doesn't like to be picked up. She has a very soft
thick coat. Luci has been eating raw since she was about 9 years old.
For years the hair on the inside of her legs and on her belly was like peach
fuzz. The vet couldn't figure out why. After being switched to raw
the hair on her legs and belly has grown back to be just as thick as the rest of
This was Luci as a kitten.

This is Luci as a kitten investigating the stray bunny I had brought home. A guy
brought it into work and said it was a wild rabbit. He couldn't take it to the
humane society so he was going to let it loose outside again. I told him I'd take it
to the humane society. Turned out he had a lump on his ear that needed to be
drained. The humane society would take him and put him down right away. I
took him to the vet, got him fixed up, and found a home for him. He grew up to be a
very big bunny.
This is Luci as an adult.
Here is Luci relaxing on the 55 gallon aquarium. She looks over the edge every now
and than and paws at the fish.
